Coffee Corner

Stay a while longer and enjoy a coffee while you browse.

Our coffee is supplied by Bell Lane Coffee, an award winning coffee roasters based in Mullingar, Co Westmeath. They have won twelve stars at the famous Great Taste Awards, and been commended at the Blas Na hEireann and the Irish Cafe Quality Food Awards.

We use their Dragonfly Espresso blend which picked up Three Star Gold at the 2014 Great Taste Awards

@gardenwishingwells just delivered our new table! It is beautiful, really solid and well-constructed - perfect for our book club meetings ✨📚💕
These lovely books by Sarah Murphy just arrived! They contain important messages for kids (e.g. that it’s ok to make mistakes or to say no if you don’t want to do something) explained in an easy to understand way.
A surprise in the post today for me and @pollyk - a copy of Children of the Troubles and a beautiful hand painted card from Joe Duffy!

Posted @withrepost • @badlymadebooks Delighted to stop in @woodbinebooksireland today to restock them with bullet journals. It’s great to have #badlymadebooks stocked in the town I grew up in. #kilcullenlovin
Posted @withrepost • @pantibliss I'm in a bookshop in Kilcullen Co Kildare with my friend Karim (whom I've known for twenty-something years but only just discovered he's the kind of person who takes pictures in public using an iPad) and we came here to meet this sprightly 92 yr old, to whom I introduced myself by saying, "You made me gay". It was a real thrill to meet Desmond Morris, author of (among 76 other books!) The Naked Ape.

I gave him a copy of my book Woman In The Making, with the part about how important and special The Naked Ape was to 12 yr old me marked, so he could understand what he did for me without even knowing.
